At Mandell’s Clinical Pharmacy, our team is dedicated to providing support and education for women undergoing fertility treatment. If you’re new to our pharmacy, or you’re in the beginning phases of fertility treatment, you may have questions about how to use a specialty pharmacy like Mandell’s. To help you get started with filling your prescription with us and enjoying the benefits of choosing our fertility pharmacy, we’ve listed our top five commonly asked questions.
FAQs About Using Our Online Pharmacy
What Are Some Ways I Can Submit My Prescription?
As with many pharmacies across the country, your doctor can send your fertility prescription via an electronic prescription (i.e., e-scribe), or send us your prescription by fax at 877-252-0450 or by phone at 877-252-0553. You also have the option of dropping off your prescription in person at our New Jersey Location.
How Do I Order My Fertility Prescription Online?
Ask your doctor to send your order to Mandells. Then, we recommend that you first visit our new patient page to complete our online registration form. From here, you can tell us more about yourself, including your name, address, phone number, as well as allergies, insurance carrier, and the type of treatment cycle you’re currently on. Once you submit your information, our team will get started processing your order and connect with you to keep you posted on its status and delivery time.
We also offer a convenient place to refill your orders or request a new prescription from your doctor. And as always, we’re here for you 24/7 to answer questions or to help you learn more about your new medication, its side effects, and price.
How Do You Ship My Medication?
Because most fertility medications are administered via daily injection, as well as require refrigeration for safe storage, we take great pride in ensuring your medication is packaged and shipped with extreme care. When you order your prescription to be mailed to your home or office address, we will send your medication overnight via FedEx delivery.
How Long Will My Prescription Take to Ship?
Our fertility pharmacy’s processing time is less than 24 hours for urgent orders. Medication orders are prioritized according to need by date and if a Prior Authorization is required from the insurance company for covered items, this will delay the process. As noted earlier, your medication will be shipped via overnight FedEx delivery, as your medication may require refrigeration.
Delays in shipment can include insurance processing issues or clarification of an order with a physician’s office. If this is the case, our team will inform you of the situation and keep you updated on shipment status, so you know exactly when your medication is on its way.
Does Someone Need to Be Home to Receive the Package?
Yes. Due to the importance of maintaining product integrity, as well as the significant cost of fertility medications, your delivery will require your signature. Rest assured that our team will coordinate a delivery time with you that fits your busy schedule.
