What is the Leuprolide (Lupron) Two Week Kit?
The Leuprolide Two Week Kit for pregnancy is used to delay the release of eggs that will be retrieved for IVF (In Vitro Fertilization). If you are looking to become pregnant, your doctor may prescribe this treatment method to help prevent premature ovulation. This is achieved by blocking the body’s natural hormone and egg development process. Your 14-day medication contains a sterile solution that is supplied in a 2.8 mL multiple-dose vial, which can be administered at home through injection.

Storing Leuprolide Two Week Kit Dosage
Store in the original carton at room temperature between 59 degrees and 77 degrees Fahrenheit (15 degrees and 25 degrees Celsius). Refrigerate after first use at a temperature of 36 degrees to 46 degrees Fahrenheit (2 degrees to 8 degrees Celsius) for up to 30 days, after opening. Protect prescription from light. At Mandells, we recommend storing in the refrigerator after the first use. This is not necessary, but it is a safer practice since it is a multi use vial and will help protect the medication’s sterility.
